There’s a new bakery & deli that’s popping up everywhere called Vovo Telo, the 1st one that I visited was at 44 on Stanley (another hidden gem in Johannesburg that I will blog about soon)
The one I visited recently was in Parkhurst and I had breakfast there. Vovo Telo has a warm, welcoming feeling with the aroma of freshly baked bread (my ultimate weakness). Loved the décor especially the chandeliers.
For breakfast I had their Homemade Muesli with Fresh Fruit, Yoghurt & Honey. The menu is simple and consists of some interesting food, they serves a range of sandwiches, pastries, light breakfasts and lunches.
About the Bakery & Deli:-
“Vovo Telo began as a bakery featuring artisan breads and pastries in the historical district of Richmond Hill, Port Elizabeth in 2007. Since then, the original bakery has grown to include wonderful coffees, breakfasts and lunches”
“To some bread is bread. To us bread is our passion. Do you dream of the perfect loaf of bread? We do, and it is what we strive to achieve everyday at our bakeries. “
“This perfection doesn’t end at our breads; we want each plate of food and each cup of coffee to be a magical experience.”
Vovo Telo has branches in PE, Jozi, Pretoria and Cape Town, visit their website on www.vovotelo.com to find a bakery near you.
Really worth the visit, another Splendid Experience.
